Astrophotography is a dark art (see what we did there?) with so many variables that when you finally capture the ultimate “Wow!” shot of those elusive star tracks, there’s a real sense of achievement. It’s also a great excuse to sit around camp with a beer and enjoy the peace of a wilderness night.
