Arc’teryx is looking for winter-loving frothers who are keen to take on the Australian Alps for a weekend of backcountry exploring.

After last year’s epic Weekend of Backcountry Arc’teryx is back for round two. Partnered with WAE, they’ll be running an epic and exclusive Australian Alps Backcountry Weekend.

25 lucky attendees will bag two full days of guided backcountry skiing and splitboarding with expert guides. Participants will practice how to safely navigate the backcountry while they explore.

Arc’teryx is looking for winter-loving frothers who are keen to take over Jerrabomberra Lodge, get a sneak peak of some new and upcoming Arc’ gear, explore the Australian Alps and learn a thing or two while they’re out there.

Food, accommodation and activities are all sorted, just show up in Perisher with your gear and we’ve got the rest covered! Still not sold? Watch the film from last year!

This trip is open to both skiers and splitboarders!

So What’s The Weekend Involve?

This weekend is all about touring and riding the backcountry in a safe environment, not about earning certifications. It’s about discovering the pleasure and rawness that only comes from hopping the resort fence and hitting mountains in their natural state.

This year we will offer a women’s only squad with a women’s guide. Places are limited so if you’d like to join the all-women group, please let us know! All other squads will be mixed.
